Jeff Bezos left his CEO post on 5th July. Andy Jassy took over his position. He resigned due to the dream that he had from childhood to travel to space. For making it a dream, he resigned with the necessary step against this dream. He found a company called Blue Origin on 8th September 2000. This is an aerospace flight that travels people to the sub-orbital region of the earth. 20th July 2021 was a record-making day. Jeff Bezos was the first ticket to this flight or rocket named New Shepard. He called his brother to accompany him. His brother with a glad joined him. There was a capsule at the top of the rocket that carried 6 persons. But as it was the first trip only 3 were planned to travel including Jeff Bezos and his brother Mark Bezos. This ticket was left for auction for 3 Days. As it was a commercial flight, any common man can travel through it. But one catchy thing is that one ticket prices up to $28 million. For the Indian rupee, it costs up to 208 crores for a single ticket. This price is just for 11 minutes of travel. Traveling 100 km above the earth is the target. As a UFO sighting, this is just a space sighting that too with zero gravity travel. The main thing people love is to float in space. This spacecraft gives this experience.
HOW DID THIS WORK?
This travel time is about 11 minutes. During the launch, this rocket flies vertically for the first 2-3 minutes. After this, the capsule above this rocket detaches from the rocket and goes up for the marked target. Every rocket can't be reused after its journey. But, this rocket after releasing the capsule from its top, body lands from where it took off. This makes this rocket reuse this to carry another capsule. It does a space taxi service. After the tour finishes the capsule went up falls down. When falling, the parachutes above this capsule opens up to reduce the speed and land softly. It lands in the desert nearby. These steps successfully took place on 20th July 2021. You might be eager to know the persons who traveled in this capsule. Jeff Bezos, Mark Bezos, Wally Funk, and Oliver Daemen are the travelers to space.
