Monuments all over the world have some kind of history. It might say the history or the story of any period or dynasty. 7 wonders of the world have this monument and that which we are going to see about.


TAJ MAHAL


Taj Mahal has been a wonderful wonder of the world for its beauty of white marble. Recently, many news had already published the corrosion of marble and its color change. But the real Taj Mahal has many differences from what we see now. The hero of this story is Shah Jahan is having undefinable love for his wife Mumtaz. Empire who lived in that century usually marry more than one wife to make the conflict between two dynasties smooth. If he married a woman from another dynasty, he assures that no attack or any defect will be towards them. However, Shah Jahan was constantly marrying many women due to Political influence, he married Mumtaz wholeheartedly. For these two people, 14 children were born. Once, Shah Jahan was about to go to war in UP. So, he and his wife stayed in a camp with his army and was fighting for the war. During this time, Mumtaz was pregnant and died due to pregnant pain. But the child was successfully born. Shah Jahan was broke down and buried in a fort in UP. Shah Jahan was considered the handsome king of all time, but after his wife's death, he isolated himself for months and became old and ugly. After months, he decided to build a monument for her wife in Agra. He told one of his sons from 14 children to carry his mother's dead body to Agra. She was kept in a golden box. After winning the war, he started building the monument, the Taj Mahal. Until the construction is over, she has buried nearby the monument. King arranged world-class marble and built the Taj Mahal with 22,000 people in 22 years. He used 1000 elephants for work. The wood he used to build the Taj Mahal can be removed within 1 year it seems. Then he buried her wife in the middle of the Mahal. Aurangzeb was one of the children born to Shah Jahan. Aurangzeb was fully concentrated in his position and was frustrated about his dad Shah Jahan. Soon Shah Jahan fell ill. Aurangzeb kept his dad home arrest in Agra Fort and took his dad's position. He killed the competitors for him and strengthened his position. Shah Jahan became well and his son still kept him on home arrest. Shah Jahan was peeping through a hole to see the Taj Mahal. Till 10 years, his work was to see the Taj Mahal from his place and died in that place itself. Aurangzeb buried his dad near Mumtaz instead of building another Taj Mahal. Everything made in the Taj Mahal was precious. Other kings who came in started looting the Taj Mahal. Even Britishers looted it and finally decided to restore it. Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal with trees bearing fruits and created a treeful park in front of the Taj Mahal to make unseen from distance. But during restoring, Britishers made it in a French style and that is what we are managing now. The tombs standing in the corners are slightly tilted outwards so that if a natural calamity attacks the building, the tombs should fall outwards not upon the Taj Mahal. Many conspiracy theory of Taj Mahal is about the building of another monument. Shah Jahan planned to build another Taj Mahal for him opposite to white marble Taj Mahal.

 Another Taj Mahal was planned to be built with black marble for him. The marble used in the Taj Mahal has a specific function. In the early morning, the Taj Mahal would look in pink color, in the afternoon it would look in pure white color and evening it looks in orange color.
