MYTHOLOGY


Mythology is seen to be interesting and fictitious. Beyond the thought of reality, our mind believes it and shows interest in it, and seldom it turns into a belief. The best example of that is Plato's story. The island Atlantis.


ATLANTIS


Plato was a great philosopher who lived 2300 years ago. He has said in his story that when he was in his childhood, his grandfather had met a great traveler. This is the story that has been written by him. The traveler started telling the story by starting with a curious headline. 



Nearly 11,000 years ago, Poseidon was the god for sea and storm. He visited Earth and was searching for the largest island on Earth. As the island was under his control, he was eager in that. Then he found a great island called Atlantis that was equal to the sum of Libya and Asia in accordance to the area. Humans were living there and the island looked so simple. He enters there and sees a beautiful girl. He then marries her. This is the first time, a god marries a human. Poseiden was already got married to his species. His wife was angry in the marriage done by Poseidon. Poseidon puts his 1st wife in the prison and enjoys this human wife. He built a beautiful palace at the top of the mountain. It was surrounded by seawater to make it more secure. As god was living there, he granted all the resources, and Atlantis was considered to be the only island where humans and god lived together. 10 children are born to this couple and one of the son's names was Atlas. Poseidon then leaves Earth and moves to his planet. Atlas then found this island to be more perfect which could be equal to Paradise. He then started building a huge temple for his father Poseidon. A great statue of made of gold for his father Poseidon. The island was great and going on smoothly. Once, greeks said that Greece was better than this place. People who live Atlantis were developed with Ego that they were half god and half-human. Atlantis created a huge navy army that couldn't be imagined. This army was to destroy the greeks. Gods were angry about this and supported the greeks as the truth was lying on their side. However the army was huge and could destroy greeks, Mythological stories could have great twists and unbelievable moments. Then finally greeks won and Atlantis people increased the anger of gods, to this gods cursed this island and it was submerged under the sea due to tsunamis and earthquakes. This story was written by Plato to just show that whatever resource might be the place. If the people were selfish and ego-rich fellows, then the island would get cursed. People started believing this story and started to give these locations. Many people said that this island would have submerged in the Atlantic Ocean. Many believed that Atlantis submerged in the sea and moved towards the south and became a continent that is noting but Antarctica. They even said that when the snow in Antarctica melt, Atlantis will be seen by people. But still, there is no scientific proof, roaming around people through mythological stories.
