The best adventure of mystery is the feeling of fear in it. In that way, the forest has played a major role in creating fear with its dark, gigantic look.
MADHI KETTAN SOLAI FOREST
Kodaikanal is being a famous spot when summer starts in Tamil Nadu or any other nearby state. In the middle of the route between Kodaikanal, we can see an extraordinary forest below. No one from Kodaikanal visits this forest or not even goes near it. The thing within this forest is that anyone who enters this forest will become stupid. 4 things influence the mystery within this. British live in Chennai and other cities during December and January. But the British visit old places during May and April as the summer is at the top in these months.
Like so, Kodaikanal was one of the main spots and chose this forest as this seem to be separate and no entrance of people is found here. So, they started creating campfires and many more things. The first thing of this mystery is that the British would have told a story of this sort to restrict people's entry. This is because here they are conducting many important activities during summer. The second thing is that a flower blooms in this forest whenever a person enters this forest. After blooming, the flower falls and many other flowers will also be found down. A person who enters if by mistake stamps the flower, this flower releases a smell that makes him make stupid. This is the thing people believe. The third thing is the official's thoughts. Many people who have traveled through any forest and came out would say that I was confused with the route and don't what to do at that time. Forest Guiders helped me to come out. Like so, when a denser forest like Madhi Kattan Solai Forest, makes people stupid as it confuses and no one to interact with. The name Madhi Kattan is a Tamil word meaning stupidness or stupid. Solai here refers to Grove. The fourth thing is that a Murugan Statue is inside made by Bogar ( Tamil Siddhar ) and this statue has magical powers. When this statue is disturbed, it uses its power and makes the man stupid.
If you walk in this forest, you can't keep your leg in the soil. Only trees touch the soil. Because leaves and flowers here make a thick layer above the soil that makes anybody walk over it.
