Online shopping has been a common activity these days. Many order food in their favorite restaurant and save their time in cooking. They needn't visit any restaurant or needn't spend petrol, but they get their food. The engineer who has no job joins in this job to survive till he gets a good job that satisfies him. Zomato was launched in 2008 by Deepinder Goyal and Pankaj Chaddah. This is considered to be the first online food ordering app in India. Many food lovers have this app on their phones and touch it every time. A man from Tamil Nadu has ordered something in Zomato and had some issues with his delivery. He contacted Customer Care. The person who spoke to him was Hindi. This guy ended his call and posted a chat message in Chat Box. The message was that to hire a person who knows Tamil because when business is placed in any state, there must be a person who knows the language spoken by the majority of people in respective states. To which the customer care agent replied that Hindi is the national language of India, it is very important to know at least a little bit of Hindi.
This chat message turns into a national problem and people in Tamil Nadu were rejecting Zomato and every social Media was filled with temper and memes regarding Zomato. This problem was due to the term ' National Language '. As per the constitution of India, Article 343 states that there is no national language for India. There is a huge difference between the national and official languages of India. No language is the national language of India. Stating Hindi as the national language, TN people became frustrated. Zomato then officially published the sorry letter in English as well as Tamil. TN people were then calmed down a bit, till the arrival of Zomato Ceo post. Zomato Ceo said that it was a small mistake in Customer Care which turned into National Problem. He even stated that the level of tolerance and chill in our country must be higher than now. This, even more, increases the temper of TN people. It is the pride for every one of their language, as they speak and live in their language. Other companies like Discovery channel and Star Sports come inside India with English, Hindi, and Tamil too as they knew the reality of popularity. This even increases the economic rate of India and Tamil Nadu. Zomato has confirmed to open a Customer Care Centre in Coimbatore employing the Tamilians. Then Tamilinas gets a Job Opportunity. Bihar has lost its original language and speaks Hindi. Due to this issue #Reject_Zomato has been viral all through social media.
