ISLAND

Islands are the landmass surrounded by water on all sides. The most famous islands in India is Andaman and Nicobar Island and Lakshwadeep Island. People visit these places and enjoy the resources and natural beauty of the place. But what if an island was banned officially by the government?

NORTH SENTINEL ISLAND

North Sentinel Island is situated in Andaman and Nicobar Island. This island is so small that measures up to 7.8 km in length and 7 km in breadth. People who live here are uncivilized yet. They are still searching for fire and not aware of the invention of fire too. These people are like humans who lived 60,000 years ago. They don't allow anybody in. If someone enters, their first move would be to kill the person without enquiring anything. British was constantly capturing India including Andaman and Nicobar Island. They built a big prison in which many protestors, socialists, and persons who disobey the British were kept. Once a thief escaped from this Prison and entered this North Sentinel Island. The British Coast Guard found his body in pieces in the seashore. British then found the survival of humans inside this island. There planned to capture this island too. The main technique used by the British to capture land was by giving whatever he likes. ' He ' This term refers to a person. Instead of giving to the whole group, the British call one person from the group and give lots of gifts to him. In this way, he gets a good impression of the British and he communicates this to the group. This will then be accepted by the people in the land and they establish slavery. They tried to enter but there was no time to speak. The people on the island will assassinate the person who enters. British saw an old man and woman with 4 children beside them. Getting a motorboat, they kidnapped them at the right time.

They moved towards the mainland. As the journey was going, the old man and woman died, unfortunately. The children were vomiting and were showing signs of death. British asked the doctor to check the children. The doctor told that these human beings on the island have the same body condition what the humans before 60,000 had. We people have evolved and raised our immunity against our surroundings. These people have nill immunity and haven't evolved yet. The air we breathe is poison for these beings and even the virus in our hands might kill them too. Hearing this British, left these two children back on the island. The only area which British couldn't capture was this North Sentinel Island. After Independence, India tried to establish contact with these groups. But these people dispelled the people who came to be in contact. India tried to establish contact with this island by getting help from the other nearby tribes. But they even killed these tribes. In 2004, a great tsunami attacked India, Andaman and Nicobar Island, and many more countries. Many people have died and the Indian government planned to supply food for these people because they were lying in the low-lying area. But none had died in this tsunami. They predicted the arrival of the tsunami and moved to the high-lying area. Even the technology couldn't predict this and warn the people who went to the seashore. The Indian government then planned to ban this island as they were living happily and known to protect themselves. So, the Indian government banned this island and no one could enter this island till now.

In this 60,000 years history, The people in North Sentinel Island allowed only Rajendra Cholan King to rule their island.
