Unearthing Keezhadi. Making the History more defined.

TAMIL

In ancient history, Tamil has been deemed as the first and antiquated language in the world. Many refuse, many accept. The real truth is within the land. The land has memory. Perfect excavation of the ground helps us identify the real history. Indus valley civilization is considered the oldest civilization found by humans. But a lot more is hiding under the earth, just to tell the past to the present. In that way, Keezhadi has been giving many surprises about the history.

Keezhadi is a small village 12km southeast of Madurai. Many practice farming in this village. People passing through this village don't consider this town as the main point. But the city under Keezhadi gave a look to this town. Amarnath Ramakrishna is an Indian Archaeologist who was once appointed as the head of the Banglore Archaeologist department. Ancient villages or civilizations always lie near rivers. He decided to explore the sides of River Vaigai. His result ended up giving various sites on the sides of this river. Nearly 500 sites were found on the sides of River Vaigai. Then they decided to concentrate on any one site out of the 500 sites. That is where Keezhadi comes into the picture. An old farmer owns a piece of land in that town. They planned to start excavation from that piece. He offered his land for free for the government to excavate the land to research the Tamilians culture. During the 1st excavation many old properties. A further excavation made archaeologists in a state where they couldn't even further imagine Tamil culture as it was such a long novel. Even found that this city must have been spread to nearly 110 acres that are not even 1% they are excavating now. They have just excavated 1 acre. Suddenly Amarnath Ramakrishna was transferred and another archaeologist was appointed on their behalf.

This archaeologist dug smaller parts and closed that Keezhadi resources came to end. Tamil People started protesting to give an organized team to only excavate Keezhadi. Without relying on the Indian archaeologist department, the Tamil Nadu government appointed their archaeologist from the Tamil Nadu Archaeologist team. They have planned to build a Keezhadi museum near the Keezhadi site. 12 crores have been fixed for this project. Apart from these 30 crores have been allocated for Keezhadi excavation too.

Carbon Nanotube technology was found in 1991 and is getting used in different departments. It is a process in which graphite's last sheet called graphene is used in automobiles and many other departments. this technology is also seen in the pot found in this excavation.

The excavation leads to the discovery of many more ancient kings and their way of ruling. Way of the ruling says about the whole period history. This further leads to the discovery of technology and science used by ancient people.

The language has been carved in the pots too. Kings usually write on rocks, common people write in the pots. This concluded that all ancient peoples were educated rather than had the knowledge to read and write.

Recently many silver coins were found in Keezhadi. This shows that trading has also been taken place during that period. It is 3000 years old civilization. India is a great country with many features. Wherever we dig, there is a history. We need not see any stones or others to know the history. But in India, if we dig near our house there is a history.

Keezhadi is stated that it is 3000 years old. The recently buried one comes first when we dig. If we dig deeper and deeper we get more discoveries.

Tamil is not only a language. It is culture.

Dig more. Know more. Keezhadi.
