WHAT IS COVISHIELD? WHAT IS COVAXIN? WHAT IS SPUTNIK?

COVID VACCINE

Many are suffering due to corona and couldn't able get an oxygenated bed. The government has taken necessary measures and has stopped this stage in few hospitals and worked with other hospitals. On another side, the government requests us to get vaccinated. But, when you think forward to get vaccinated the first of all question is " what vaccine should I put? whether covishield or covaxin or sputnik?

Here are the brief details about every vaccine.

WHAT IS COVISHIELD?

Covishield was manufactured by Serum Institute of India which is considered as world's largest vaccine manufacturer. It has officially announced that they produce nearly a 60million doses per month.

The headquarters of Serum Institute is located in Pune.

Covishield uses a viral vector technology which is a different technology.

In this technique, the vaccine carries Covid-19 spike protein cells and introduce to our body. once it enters our body, our body immune starts fighting against it and gets trained to protect against the main virus.

Covishield has passed all three clinical tests.

WHAT IS COVAXIN?

Covaxin is manufactured by Bharat Biotech in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research and the National Institute of Virology.

Covaxin uses the Whole-Virion Inactivated Vero cell-derived technology.

In this technology, the whole virus or bacteria is weakened or made dead and injected into our body. The body gets trained with this virus and will be capable of fighting against the main virus. This technique is not new to this medical history as it has been used in many other vaccine-like Polio etc.

SIDE EFFECTS OF COVAXIN AND COVISHIELD

Pain in the injection site, swelling up in the injection site, headache, fever, nausea, rashes, etc. But there is no clear information about these side effects as it depends upon the type of body that gets vaccinated.

WHAT IS SPUTNIK VACCINE?

Sputnik is developed by Moscow's Gamleya Institute. This vaccine also uses viral vector technology. They inject Cold-type virus, making it weakened and make our body produce antibodies against this type of virus. To our surprise, Sputnik has a different 2nd dosage. They use a slightly different formula. In this, they use neutralized virus that carries spike to the body and creates two different antibodies. The moto is that instead of injecting the same virus 2 times, we can inject 2 different types of the virus to create 2 different types of antibodies. This gives long-lasting protection. Some side effects of this vaccine include sore arm, tiredness, and fever.

CONCLUSION

The second dosage must be administrated when the minimal time for the next dosage is reached. Experts say that getting any vaccine is best during this pandemic. If you have any dilemma in your vaccination get the right jab which gives fulfillment. More than getting the vaccination, you must have a strong mindset. The shortest period taken to develop a vaccine has taken place in this Covid. As it takes 10 to 15 years to develop a vaccine. But during this pandemic, the vaccine is developed in the shortest time. The only way to protect the world from the corona is by getting your vaccination.

GET YOUR JAB AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
